New Year’s Reception: Minister of State Dr. Markus Söder as guest

High-ranking visitors at the New Year’s reception of IGW and IVM in Waldkraiburg: The Bavarian Minister of State did the honours alongside almost 400 guests. In addition to political topics, there was also a dance performance.

This year, the IGW and IVM were able to invite a high-ranking politician to their New Year’s reception. It took place at the Haus der Kultur in Waldkraiburg. Chairman of the Industrial Community Waldkraiburg and Aschau Ulli Mayer welcomed the Bavarian State Minister of Finance, Regional Development and Home Affairs Dr. Markus Söder. In addition to him, all the political VIPs from the district of Mühldorf as well as representatives from the business community were represented among the almost 400 guests.

First Ulli Mayer and the host, 1st Mayor of Waldkraiburg Robert Pötzsch welcomed the guests. Then the Bavarian Minister of State Dr. Markus Söder gave a speech. In his speech, he addressed numerous political topics. These included the areas of finance, state development and home affairs. He received a great deal of applause from the audience. Afterwards, he signed the book of honour of the town of Waldkraiburg. After a dance performance by the Stoabachers from Aschau, there was an exchange of economic and political views.

Wanner GmbH was represented by two people to hear first-hand information about the economic situation in Bavaria and Germany. They also exchanged views with numerous representatives from politics & business as well as the customers and MCM members present.

The main topics of the visitors were the marginal conditions for trade and industry in the Mühldorf, Altötting and Waldkraiburg area. Also the shortage of skilled workers and managers was talked about. In addition, trainees, tax developments and the situation of the euro were also discussed.
