SG BR OPEN – Wanner as sponsor with prizes that can change lives…
On the 26th of July 2014, the SG BR OPEN took place on the golf course of the Pleiskirchen e.V. Golf Club. The organiser was the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation.
Wanner as a sponsor
Wanner GmbH was represented with a stand between the green of course 4 and the tee of course 5. Together with the company Obst & Gemüse Barth, the players were treated to fresh fruit and cool vitamin-rich drinks.
The raffle
In addition, the participants were able to find out about the range of services offered by Wanner GmbH. Also they could take part in the prize draw. Wanner raffled off three interesting training offers that can produce incisive insights. The winners, who were selected by the “lottery fairy”, were as follows:
- 1st prize “Career counselling worth EUR 540” went to Mr Lebschy, Flight 7
- 2nd prize “Coaching worth EUR 360” was won by Ms Brandstetter, Flight 1
- 3rd prize “Seminar on finding life goals worth EUR 230” was awarded to Ms Turpin-Hedinger, Flight 3.
The Give-Away
As Wanner also offers worldwide purchasing support in the consulting sector, Wanner had a very special give-away to underline this competence. Interested participants were able to enjoy a USB memory stick in the format of a golf ball. It was a very special honour for Wanner to look after the 144 participants. 88 of whom had travelled from other golf clubs. Some of them had travelled a long way to be at the event.
The infamous “Hole in One”
The sensation of the day was achieved by 15-year-old Noah-Elia Auner, who managed a “Hole in One”. He hit his golf ball over 175 metres directly into the hole on hole 18! A lucky shot, which is a sensation even from a purely statistical point of view. This earned him the prize of a BMW 116i worth around EUR 22,000. No player has ever had the luck of a hole in one on this course since it was founded in 2000! After interesting conversations on the green, they could be deepened in the evening at the Player’s Night with DJ Bernhard “Fleischi” Fleischmann from BR.
